Workum Summer Intern Program 2019

  • An innovative summer experience for Cincinnati Area College Students.

  • Provides meaningful, career related employment through paid, supervised internships in
    Cincinnati Jewish Communal Agencies.

  • Interns earn $10.00 per hour.

  • The 2019 program will begin on Monday, June 3rd, 2019 and end on Friday, July 26th, 2019.

  • Enables college students to gain experiences in a communal service atmosphere.

  • Instills community commitment and develops future leaders.

  • Interns will have a series of programs outside of the internship to connect them to each other and Cincinnati.

  • This program receives support from the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati.


  • Applicants must have completed at least one year at any college or university.
  • Selection based upon ability, leadership, maturity and academic qualification.


  • Internship is an eight week program.
  • Interns work thirty hours per week.
  • Interns attend weekly roundtable discussions of contemporary Jewish Issues.

November 2018: Application window is open for interested student to complete and submit.

December 2018: Intern application window closes on December 21, 2018.

January 2019: Interviews held, recommended applicants chosen and recommended to agencies to interview/confirm candidate is a match.

February 2019: Internship offers go out to chosen candidates.

March 2019: Due date of Workum internship acceptance is March 14th.

Monday, June 3rd, 2019 - Friday, July 26th, 2019: Interns work for agencies.
